These Terms ("Terms") govern your use of Finhabits (the "Service"), operated by Financial Habits to Succeed ("Company," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@financialhabitstosucceed.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or provide false registration information.
Finhabits is a software-as-a-service tool for organizing recurring bills, expenses, incomes, savings goals, and weekly habit reflections. The Service is informational only and is not investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. Decisions about your money remain yours alone.
The Service does not connect to your bank, broker, or credit-card issuer. It does not move money, pay bills on your behalf, or offer any transaction capability beyond its own subscription billing.
Plans. We offer a monthly plan at $10/month and an annual plan at $120/year. The annual plan includes a 14-day free trial — you are not charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel anytime before then.
Payment processor. All payments are processed by Square, Inc. By subscribing, you agree to Square's General Terms of Service. Square may perform fraud checks, card-not-present verification, or require 3-D Secure.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. You authorize us (via Square) to charge your card on file for each renewal until you cancel.
Cancellation. Cancel anytime from Settings or by emailing support@financialhabitstosucceed.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. You retain access until the end of the paid period.
Refunds. Monthly plans are non-refundable after the first charge posts. Annual plans are refundable pro-rata within the first 14 days of the first paid period (i.e., after the trial ends), minus any promotional credit applied. After that, no refunds. Refund requests must be sent to support@financialhabitstosucceed.com.
Referral credit. Inviting a verified friend who creates an account grants each of you 30 bonus days, applied automatically to your next Square billing cycle. Referral credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred, combined with other promotions without notice, or redeemed for refund. We reserve the right to revoke credit obtained through fraud, self-referral, or abuse.
Taxes. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added where required by law.
Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice by email. Your continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You retain all rights to the financial planning data you enter. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your data except as disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
If you opt into the public-wins ticker, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide license to display your first name and the milestone type (no amounts) in aggregated social-proof displays. You can revoke this by toggling the opt-out in Settings; new entries stop appearing immediately. Historic entries are removed within 30 days of opt-out.
All rights in the Service — including the software, brand, design, and written content — are and remain the property of Financial Habits to Succeed and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service as intended.
The Service integrates with third-party providers (Square for payments, Resend for email, MongoDB Atlas for hosting). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of those providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
No financial advice. The Service is for informational and organizational use only. Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
As-is. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FINANCIAL HABITS TO SUCCEED, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Financial Habits to Succeed, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
You may close your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, the license to use the Service ends immediately. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute not resolved informally will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
You and Company agree to waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have verified email on file) and post the updated Terms at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service 30 days after notice constitutes acceptance.
